I have a mate who is looking for a Good 4x4 for Mainly Beach work (He’s a Kite Surfer)
And has around 10K to spend could any one suggest a decent possibly diesel 4x4 worth having a look at?
Thanks in Advance

Seeing as Nissan can't keep there value I would say any Nissan before an 06 would be around 10 K. ROTFLMAO.
Seriously A 60 series perhaps a cruiser ute pre 93/4 or perhaps an early 80 series.
Cheers Steve

If it's really only for beach work and I know that these are not diesel but I'd be looking at a Wrangler (more power) or Vitara (more economy) and preferably auto. With a mild lift and some good rubber they are both pretty hard to beat on sand, especially if auto. The boards and kites don't take up much space and lightweight is better on the sand IMHO.
If it's for other purposes too then more details would help.

A Jeep Cherokee gives more room and comfort and has same engine and weighs the same as a Wrangler.
