Was there over the last Easter/Anzac Day break. Corrugations are quite bad in
places but still worth the trip. Sand dunes are no problem with tyres down to around 25. One of our group towed a tin tub camper. Once you get to
Tarcoola, the road was brilliant! Could sit on 80 - 100 very easily. Have you contacted the
ranger at
Ceduna? We certainly did and they were very helpful. They get a bitbleepwith people just doing the track without telling them, especially if you haven't forked out for the pass. Their number is 08 86253144. A very interesting (but once again corrugated) side trip is east from Googs Lake to
Childara Rockhole, however, be sure to get written permission from
Lake Everard Station as the
rockhole is on private property just the other side of the
dog fence. The
Ranger will give you the contact number to ring if you're interested. Have a great trip.
