Help with Gps

Hi just received a phone call from a friend who was given a Garmin IQ M5 via Ebay. He told me he tried to download OziExplorer Maps to it . Nothing would work ! He then informed me it was basically American ! I have had a look through a few sites and all seemed to say that the unit was superceded. It looks like you have to be careful buying on line and if you do CHECK First.
Does anyone know if you can download Aussie maps to this unit.
Personally I have a Map60cs.

You need to use different maps than Oxiexplorer use.
