Ive got a 04 Turbo diesel was cheaper to buy compared to hilux, its practical and reliable. The only thing i dont like and this is trivial is lack of a footrest

If your of average height or above, your left knee will rest on the gear lever when it is in 5th.

We had one with a cracked ABS sensor
besides that too low compared to a hilux and 265x75 tyres you will want to replace the highway rubber with may rub a bit on full lock
very solid bodywork - seemed to survive being put through the bush (not me and was due to being skitish on uneven roads and a crap driver)
good cooling system - only time i got the gauge to move above 1/2 (and then it was only a bit) was at 150kph in temps over 45 deg
back seats are very averadge for comfort and room
and the ride is comparable to a 75 cruiser. there is something about the ride which vibrates UHF ariels to the extent that they are lucky to last a week and some only a few days before they snap off.
can be fitted with a 100l
tank
