Just wondering if anyone has some suggestions for
camping around Mt Magnet as I am assuming that
The Granites campsite is still day use only.
It doesnt necessarily have to be right at Mt Magnet though. We are heading East from there across to Leinster via
Sandstone, so not a problem if it is along that road somewhere.
Also can someone enlighten me as to what the Mt Magnet
Sandstone Road is like.

I wish I could edit my posts........
On the same topic is there any suitable
camping areas around
Sandstone or along that road closer to Leinster for our next night.
Thanks

Have a Magellan and also running Ozi CE on an Ipaq, but no Garmin......
I am sure that we will find something suitable, just have to hope that this rain disappears at least for the week.

Hi Richard,
Joker's Tunnel just out of
Yalgoo is not a bad
camping spot, I think its about 80k west of Magnet, towards
Geraldton. Might be a bit out of your way if you are coming up from
Perth.
Howard.

Hi Howard
Yeah that is a little in the wrong direction as we will be coming from
Perth up through
Paynes Find. I will keep it in mind though for when we do head in that direction.
