Have a look at the Garmin Quest. It has long life battery, comes complete with car fittings and charger, AC charger, USB port enabling connection to PC/Laptop if required. Also comes pre-loaded with Explorer V7 which will provide voice and turn by turn navigation. Because of it's large storage capacity, you can also install Tracks 4 Australia and Shonky Maps. Both of which compliment the Explorer 7 mapping and are pretty good in the bush too. Once loaded, you can switch between various maps. Also comes with a program called Map Source that enables you to prepare your trip routes, waypoints etc on the computer before your trip. Just a simple matter of uploading to GPS before you head off. A very versatile unit that can withstand total imersion in water. I have dealt with
Link and found them to be very price competitive and their aftersales service is nothing short of outstanding. I don't have any affiliation with this mob except that I'm a very happy customer.
