Dear all,
I am having trouble locating the coolant drain plug on my 1999 Pajero V6 3.5 (NL) .

Can anyone out there tell where it is (and what I am looking for) as I have not been able to locate it and can therefore only drain from the radiator which is only one third of the coolant system.

cheers
Andrew

Andrew,

I believe there are two, one on each side of the block.

I remember seeing reference to this on another site. I did a search on it and came up with this. Not exactly what you are after, but it talks about putting a flushing tap in.

Longest link in the world, I hope it helps. The original thread on that site has pics of the the drain plug. Have a search there.

Hello, Thanks for your efforts. I could not see any link and therefore I am none the wiser.

Thanks anyway.

Cut and paste the THREE LINE LINK into your browser.

This will take you to that thread. You can then search that site for the pics of the block drain plug.

Probably easier to put the flushing tap in or flush it through the thermostat housing though.
