I am looking to replace the original 275/65/R17 Grandtreks on the 100 series with All Terrain BF Goodrich 285/70/R17.
I have been told that on an IFS the 285's might rub the guards??
Has anybody out there got 285's on an IFS 100 Series with no
suspension lift??
ORIGINAL IS -
Rolling Radius 408.4mm -
Circumference 2566.05mm
Diameter 816.8mm
PROPOSED IS -

Circumference 2610.04mm
Diameter 830.8mm
Differences ARE
Rolling Radius 7mm
Circumference 43.99mm
Diameter 14mm
speedo will read100km/hr but actually i will be doing 101.69 km/hr
Cheers
Dave

Yes there is a very real likelihood that they will rub the guards. Why do you want to fit them as a matter of interest?

I was advised if they do fit it would be better to get and extra 10mm clearance using the larger tyres.
