Uncle, the TU500 comes with a computer CDRom and a cable in normal form -
well ours did. The cable connects the two and the CDRom has the drivers. Otherwise you buy the data package I guess if it wasn't with it.

you need to have a micro SD card. you move the picture to the micro Sd then if you plug the phone into your computer it will see the Sd and you can move the Picture onto the computer
............ IF the POS phone will recognise the micro SD you have inserted

Davoe
Your an fashioned woman...... why bother with cables and and wires , I just slip the SD card into the slot on the PC .....if I want to get or add something to the phone , but I don't see the value in phone photo's, the Nikon Digital camera takes much better photo's , In fact to me a phone is a phone only , I guess I'm an old fashioned woman too...

ahhhn doug personal experience mate
After doing exactly what you suggest the phone no longer recognizes the SD card - it will rocognize others and others will recognize it but not them recognize each other.
and
yea if i want to take photos then i use my Panasonic FZ50
And
yea it is a wank but i just wantrd to muck around putting a photo of my missus on the phone and try and put some music on it coz i was board

Hi Uncle - Davoe is spot on.
1. Must have memory card fitted.
2. With cursor on "thumbnail" of image (in list of pictures) press RHS soft key (options) and select 5 = move to. Then select - Memory card.
3. On the main menu, click 9 (settings), then 5 (Connectivity), then 2 (USB) and click Mass Storage.
4. Press the hang-up key to go back to the idle screen.
5. Attach the USB cable, and your screen should say "connect as mass storage - do not disconnect during transfer"
6. If you click "MY Computer" on your PC, the mobile phone will show as a new drive, and you can drop and paste as with a normal drive.
If only LG has software as simple as Samsung. With the Samsung you just connect the cable and the phone makes all the settings. Not so with LG. Bluetooth works
well, but you must remember it ONLY works for data in the special 'Bluetooth' directory of the phone.

Thanks for the replies guys, we had a look at sd cards this morning in town, ended up being a bit dear to worry about buying one. I only had to take the pic on my phone anyway cause the photo opportunity happened outside our
shop in the
carpark and didn't have my good digital camera with me. Suppose I could sms it to another member to put up? I can get the pic onto the comp screen ,but cant save it anywhere. It is a classic shot of " how much can someone put on the roofrack of a GQ Patrol"!!
