Yep, Gave up on the mob up in
Wollongong with the Patrol ST GU3 - finally got it in - today - so not going to go up there again ! !(post id 50354...
...so today Nathan went down and measured the Landcruiser (re kids seats) against the Nav and low-an-behold its only 14cm difference and the seats fit ! ! ! Brought it home for me to have a look and a drive. . . .
So put a deposit on it and wait till the cash come through at the end of the month and away we go ! ! !
$32,990 + on roads and of we get an ABN we can get a discount (does this mean we have to register for GST for rego/ insurance???).......PLUS we get 10 YRS WARRENTY ! ! !

Kiwi,
Did you actually put the kids seats in or just measure them??
As they can be a PITA to fit and does the Navara have a centre child restraint point?
Cheers Kev

Be careful !!
If you are not registered for GST and you are not paying or collecting GST you cannot claim GST on the car.
See your accountant first.
Are you Registered for GST.
Do you collect GST.
Do you pay GST.
If the answer is NO then you cannot claim GST on the car.
Cheers Steve.

The discounts have nothing to do with GST. Alll you need to do is supply an ABN, which anyone can apply for, to the dealer who will then reduce the selling price.

You can get an ABN without registering for GST.
You can't register for GST without an ABN.
Your Dual Cab vehicle is no longer "zero substantiation" since earlier this year, so you will need to have a log book if you want to claim a GST rebate and running cost deductions and running cost GSt rebates.
Some wags would say you need 10 years warranty for the Nissan.......
