I have the outlaws down here ATM for the youngest daughter 1st birthday and the FIL was complaining that his fridge was not cooling as
well as it has in the past. I had know idea as to the type of fridge but told him to get it out and I'll have a play to see what I thought was the problem. His description was it was a cheapy from K Mart that worked on 240 and 12v.
When he got it out of the car it was a 3 way fridge LOL
I told him to put it on its lid for a couple of hours and then plug it in again and see what happens (tip from the
forum about gas fridge problems), all he could say was Bull Schitt that wont fix it.
Low and behold it worked, now I am definitely in the Will LOL
Cheers Kev

Good on ya Kev. I've never tried it but so many people over a lot of years swear by it, so it's got to be the answer.
There is a post above you from "harmony" wanting some answers about Qld. Maybe you could help? It's a difficult ask when someone wants some genuine help, but made difficult to answer in a positive manner because of location in this country. Cheers.

Kev,
I was told that the gases 'settle' in the fridges when left 'on-site',
therefore missed out on the movement that they got while travelling on the road.
I also saw on this site that someone disagreed with the 'rolling fridge' method.
I just know that I have seen it used (and worked) on numerous occasions

Just tell him the truth. These fridges are made in China, and due to the Earth's centifugal force, the gas is forced towards the nearest polar cap, so living in the Southern Hemisphere, we have to invert the fridge so our gas heads South.
