Yes to the 40th Anniversary Cruiser, No to the 289K.
Mine had 150,000 on the clock. No problems so far.
Mine was an AXT Turbo (Garrett) fitted in SE
Melbourne( Dandenong). Happy to give more details if you want them.

I have fitted turbos to the 1hz at 120 000 and 273 000km with no dramas. The main thing to remember is EGT's.
Look up Thermoguard Instruments on this site and get one of his guages and set it right and you won't have a drama.
