Amazing stuff, I would have thought the ignition stroke would have been much more spectacular somehow???

Very interesting. I expected to see some valve overlap but there isn't any. Wonder what engine it is.

Pretty amazing how much the plug glows without pre-ignition, and then how fast the incoming mixture cools things down.
I'd be fascinated to see how different engines burn depending on chamber shape, extra valves, multiple plugs, swirl effect, overlap, etc.

When it ignites, why is there another flame front at the inlet value after the initial ignition from the spark plug?
