I have sent emails to many of the expected participants in the
Pyrenees Gathering but I have not been able to gather emails of everyone to send maps and brochure information. If you haven't got the map please email me at mvpartners at bigpond dot com.
We want to make sure you have an opportunity to enjoy your time there and enjoy the fellowship.
The Pyrenees has a lot of history and lots of wineries. One link
on the geology I found of interest. There were apparently 60,000 people in the Glenpatrick Valley in the mid 1800s, mainly there for GOLD, GOLD, GOLD
There are lots of wineries too look at
Pyrenees Winer Region. There are some premium wines from this area.
We hope that we can have a really good weekend package for you. I have heard from some arriving late Thursday 8th November in anticipation.

Glenpatrick Ray, not sure if you can access files on MembersFileswap but I think you already have that map. You gave Bonz a similar one which he has further calibrated. He may have put his there too.
The shelter there and flushing loos make it a pretty interesting
camp spot. We are taking a ute with
water tank and pump to top up the
tank if and when needed. Shouldn't be quite in the declared fire period but we will still need to be careful.

Oh Ok Glenpatrick, across the other side of the
park from Waterfalls
camp, haven't camped there before but it sounds good if not a little crowded :) I roughly stiched together and calibrated the DSE map a few years ago, a bit rough but more than adequate for navigating the
park.
I notice there's only two non members with our names on the list, members must have scared others off :)

More room at Glenpatrick than any other Pyrenees
camp. Perhaps 6-7 acres. It is the Glenpatrick
Recreation Reserve, not the picnic ground.
Bonz has recalibrated your map and printed out some A3 size maps too. Expect to have a pretty full briefing on Saturday morning with an even bigger variation mate.
One or other of the non-members have changed their status to members. Is that a hint? LOL

Hint, haha, I've been there before John.
