Catfish
Heys Guys,
Just wondered where people have mounted there Redarc Dual Battery Controller in a TD6 Patrol.
There doesn't seem to be a lot of room next to the main battery where the instructions suggest installing it.
PS. I have done a search!! LOL
Thanks in Advance
Chris.

Hi Catfish,
I have
mine mounted on the left hand side of the firewall as high as you can get it. Opposite side to the main battery but has worked OK there for a couple of years and is near the second battery.

Thanks Longtooth,
I was thinking that might be the go. Heaps of room that side near the fire wall.
Cheers
Chris.

Same here Longy - LHS - use heavy battery cable and all is
well.
Ran wire from the over-ride through the firewall, and mounted switch on an unused switch plate, level with the radio.

In my GQ td42 i have mounted it just back of the main battery, near the relay box. There are two holes in the inner panel that the redarc screws into perfectly.
