I was in the garage a couple of days ago getting things ready before the new camper trailer arrived. Good time I thought to also get the ladder out and clean the back gutters.

Now before I go on, you should know that I have a dog who believes we're joined at the hip....In other words, she has an incorrigible attitude, in that everything I do, must involve her.

Anyway up the ladder I go with her barking and trying to do the same. Eventually she cracked a feminine fit and went off to get her favourite toy (this is designed to attract my attention).

She's one of those mutts who won't be deterred.

Next thing I know she's hit the ladder and I'm lying flat on my back. Few bruises but nothing to worry about.

After I've stopped hobbling around, I'm going to chew her damn ankles off!!!!

Regards

Kim

You have to love doggy yarns.
We have a 37kg. brindle female bull terrier,
Her grin would make one think she could swallow a T bone whole (in fact she can).
Her best trick is when I come home from the pub (she knows when I turn the corner) hides behind the lounge room door, then hits me behind the knee as I come inside.
As I go down (or at least fold a bit) she runs in front and says "sheeeese, sorry I didnt see you there".
And that is only one small trick.
Dogs, you have to love em.

Furph

Thought about banning her from the 4wd for a week, but it would'nt be worth the pain I'd have to go through.

In dog's mind it's her car.....I'm only the dill that has to drive her around!

LOL

Nothing wrong with that dog Kim!

You apologise to her immediately for leaving her alone while you wondered off to play on the ladder.

A friend of mine has adopted a greyhound. She is gorgeous, except for the fact that she can stand on her back legs and have full access to whatever is on the kitchen cupboard...and she was too small to race.

She has not worked out what the goat is yet, but she quiet happy with the horses, dogs cats, chickens and rabbits. And she also worked out how to boss their youngest (14 year old Daughter) around for the bed, which she has decided is hers. It is laugh watching her play with the maltese cross, cuz she is all legs and matese stands underneath her as if to say " You can't get me..."...

Changed my opinion on greyhounds as pets, after racing. Though they don't live that long.

Glad you did not hurt yourself badly....

Dogs dont really play TOYS...a dogs favorite toy?? is really prey and the dog is actually giving you the pack leader a gift/food.

When wolves go hunting the pregnant females are left at the camp/den when the rest of the pack go hunting, the pack gorge themselves and return,, the females then muzzle/rub the dogs throats to get them to disgorge food for them,,and this is also why dogs like to be rubbed on the chest, its a good idea not to rub a dog on its head as this is an agressive act,,unless u know the dog well ..Just thought u might find this interesting .
