Just wanted to share with everyone the extended wait time for the new Troopy. I ordered
mine in May and was told today that it is now scheduled in the country at the end of Jan !! Very frustrating.
Apparently if I ordered one now it would not be until June before you can reasonably expect it to arrive (maybe).
They reckon they have sold four times more than they expected. It has been a long dry season (with no travel) since selling my GU back in July.
I asked about the lead time for the new 200 series and they said end of Feb if I ordered it now. Funny thing is, they told me 3 months back in may when I ordered the Troopy.
The upsde is we will do 2 big trips in 2008.
Happy travels !!!!

You should come to Pyrenees trip as I hear the Lucky is going to bring his Bluebird as he is not sure the other 2 fourbies in his shed will survive the weekend ha ha
Cheers Kev

G'day Michael,
Mine arrived in the country today and that was ordered end of March.
I know what your on about, I cancelled a big trip this year but that's all behind us now , not much you can do about.
3 months is usually the norm, but the extra orders has stuffed that up hasn't it.
Ave a good one

Know how you feel, Michael.
Been waiting since Feb for a 4wd Mitsubishi Canter, and still no
sign of it. Understand it's a delay with the body & bullbar.
Sounds like you'll have plenty of time to plan those trips in '08, while you're waiting.
Hooroo...

Thanks for the heads up. I called the sales guy and it turned out to be the Wagon.
I will keep waiting.
He did say Toyota will double their production by the end of March next year.
