Yeh they are a funny bird , when I seen the photo I had a chuckle , the angle of
the neck is good too,
When I was at
Dalwallinu WA driving the Tractor , The farm owner and his Brother would find the nests on the ground and mark them or let us tractor drivers know and would pick up the nest with eggs and replace it after we had passed with the air-Seeder , I thought that was very neat,

A freind in our 4wd club has the pleasure of driving it around the traps recently doing Indy. Tough job if you can get it!!
Bloody plovers nest in the paddock next to us each year and gives people a hard time when the walk past the nest or the chicks.
