I've recently upgraded the suspension on the '99 Patrol Wagon 4.2 TD with minimal lift via OME suspension. When steering is on full lock a clunck happens in the front end somewhere. Just happens once but everytime steering goes to full lock. Has anybody come across this before? Had it back to the mechanic and he couldn't find anything straight away, so I thought I'd ask around first before we get into the exploratory surgery option.

Thanks in advance!

Russell, my Navara use to make the same noise on full lock if you went over a slight bump. If you have a look where the steering stops meet on full lock it could be as simple as a light grease on the surface to stop the clunk.

Regards Matt.
