Hi all
Just returned from a few days in the mulga. Have an Engel 40th Anniversary Edition. My problem is that while the fridge/freezer worked well on 12v it would not work off the generator on 240v. Now home and fridge does not work on household power. Have I blown the 240v power supply or is there something else. Checked fuse and is OK.

Nah! All jokes aside I would be checking your warrantee to see if it is still valid. Many forget this side of things so maybe you are entitled to a w'tee claim before you start pulling it to bits or getting a tech to check it out. As we all know these things are sent to try us so do check your w'tee status first..

Grrr!!!

Check the 240v lead or if you can get hold of another lead give that a try. My guess is it is something simple as the connections or lead. If anything was burnt out it would not work at all. Nav.

Thanks for the replies. Have checked with another power cord with no joy and warranty has run out so I guess it is a trip to Mr Engel to suss out the problem.
