Hey guys
Sorry for expressing my ignorance as to the intricacies of spring installation, but is not my chosen vocation, neither is the internal examination by myself of the fuel and oil filters that I change on 10,000 and 5000 km intervals respectively, neither do I question the possible additives that are present in the diesel that I fill my
tank with or the composition of the oil that I read all of you recommending on this
forum.
I rely on the manufacturer’s quality control to ensure the product that I purchase is supplied as to their specifications - who am I - a mere consumer that is required to pay top dollar for products that I require to pursue a 'sport' that I enjoy.
I am sorry if I offended a few sensitive people that undoubtedly and obviously have considerably more experience than I.

Nobody is offended by your comments.
BUT you do seem to want to slag off at a company and insinuate that they don't care. After three years of driving around with the said springs fitted I am sure that any obligation by the company has expired even if the centre bolt was installed upside down in the first place.
Maybe next time you will take your spring installation to professionals or get some advice before doing a back yard job.
Not sure what your comments about oil or diesel have to do with the nature of your post or than to equate them to your lack of perceived knowledge of them(basically you can't see them doing what they are supposed to do anyway unlike
the springs). Don't worry you are not the only one to know very little about these things.
Sensitive? Hahahahaha...you gotta be joking. It is a matter of ideas and perceptions all put forward here. Sometimes you learn something and other times there is a lot of crap being spruiked.
Take your pick..........
Cheers

Chris,
The upside of DIY is that you can save a lot of money. The downside is that things (such as a centre bolt in upside down) may be missed. Thats life, and we move on. Spend $5 and buy a new centre bolt.
When I last looked at your original thread, it had 300
views. Two people thought you were unfairly critical of Ironman. You may have noticed that they didn't come out in droves to support your view of Ironman.
Hope its all fixed and you'll enjoy your truck again!
Cheers
