Has anyone heard of a card that you can put in your tv (for free to air stations) which cover all of Oz regardless of where you are whilst travelling?????????

We were having a picnic one day and a kelpie with three legs wandered up. One back leg missing. We started to muse over how the dog would cock [spelling?] its leg.
To our amazement on
cue... it demonstrated. It stood on it's front legs and cocked its one back leg!!

Hi D
I think you may be referring to the Optus Aurora Smart Card which insert into a set top decoder box, which then connects to your tv. The card is a one off purchase. See

Thanks for replies, we had heard of the optus setup but with that one you can only get either the eastern seaboard or the west, you can't get all but there is suppose to be a card out there that cover Oz wide so that if you are in the west you can get chanels 7,9,10 etc from any state and in WA impajia is also available which on the optus card it is not. Maybe the info was wrong,

We have an Aurora smartcard which was supplied with our
TravelSat ABC and SBS were already activated then we had to apply to Central Seven for that to be activated as you do when travelling in other States. I presume you have a digital broadcasting receiver.
