Based on the information received from Exploroz I purchased a Codan 9323 & auto tune antenna. The radio is fantastic and I have been able to talk to people all over Australia. VKS737 is
well worth the
membership and it's run by a great bunch of volunteers.

Congrates on the purchase, I have recently got one from Footloose for the cost of postage. Just need to install it now LOL

well it may save a few phone calls or extra emails
