Does anyone have anything to say, good or bad, about Heaslip camper trailers? I believe they are a good product but would be interested in any input readers of this
forum may have.
Thanks

We seriuosly looked at the Heaslip as it is
well made but settled on the Adventure Camper tray top because bed is at waist height and is king size and about about same price. Only had it for 8 weeks and still getting used to putting it up - not a 5 minute job but neither was the Aussie Swag at first, we went around Oz in that last year. So far happy with our choice and towing with a auto
Ranger with 4.85 trailcraft fishing boat just completed a trip down east coast and SA getting back home to
Tweed Heads today.

Had a look at Heaslip a couple of years ago. They are
well built, but pricey for what they are. Heavy too if I remember right.
I decided to get a s/hand Cameron. Excellent nick and does exactly what we want. Over $20 000 compared to $6 500. I know what was better value.

We had a look a few years ago at the CT's and the tray top versions. They were in our final couple so were
well made and met our requirements. There factory is also about 10km from our place. We ended up going for a tray top from Candy Canvas. The Heaslip verion was too heavy and my wife, who is on the small side, struggled with the draw system and side doors. I certainly was not going to open and close them every time she wanted something.
I would certainly find one to look at. They are worth a look but are pretty expensive. I think the tray top we looked at was $23,000. They may have changed how some of these things work. If you have partner or kids make sure they can open and close doors etc.
