HI I have got a Solar SPS logger attached to OZI Explorer. I am using a Bluetooth connection. I have noticed that after running the GPS for about 15 minutes the GPS stops communicating via Bluetooh and I have to econnect the GPS. Any Ideas

Just confirming.....you are using OziExplorer on a laptop/computer? (not OziCe on a PDA)
If we are talking about OziCE, there were some issues with Pocket PC2003 and bluetooth connectivity when the PDA is turned off (PDAs tend to do this often when not required :-)).

No I am Just using Oziexplorer on a laptop. The Bluetooth works
well with the Mobile Phone. I suspect that that it may be the GPS. The problem is I cant monitor the devices and log which one fails. Other that that the Bluetooh Solar GPS works
well and communicates very effectively with Oziexplorer.

Do you have any power mangement settings enabled on the laptop? Things like hibernation etc can affect the bluetooth protocol, so your laptop settings may be at fault. Try it with power supply plugged in, screensavers off (shouldn't be an issue though), and any power management settings set to full (harddrives, LCD etc not turning off after set time).
Some of these GPSr's have "smart power save" which turns off the bluetooth connectivity if no NMEA sentences are required, however i'm not sure why they would stop for you.
Hope this helps
Andrew
