No but I have searched & found several reports of them being slow to react & being past your turnoff before it says you are.

I just got back from the Melbourne 4WD show & had a look at this product & it had all the things I needed in a GPS. The maps I were shown contained the detail I was after.

So I would be very happy to get user reports as this was very high up on my list as a raster map GPS solution.

At present I'm looking at a Double DIN DVD, Bluetooth, Windows CE device to run OziCE.

Cheers
Richard

yer I looked at it at the Melb 4WD show too, looks to be OK but the maps would keep you poor, at least $500 for the maps PLUS the unit

I've had one since August. Had no dramas. Getting the up grade on the street mapping (free) at the moment. The nat maps are good. Starts up quick. Locates Sat's quick. I think the turn by turn runs better with the cig lighter kead than on battery especially when battery is getting low. Cost wasn't a problem as it was a present! Extremely acurate with routing and with moving map. Took it to Birdsville etc and it never got lost! The nav function is great when I go to the city or am looking for somewhere. The POI isystem is good. It may be expensive but the value packs are the way to go.

All GPS things are a gadget that you don't really need but are a bit of fun.
