Yogi,
mine opens to the passenger side. Depending on the design
if you go the other way I think you will find the door will be at the opposite end to the back of trailer which is no good.
I missed that
camping trip you mentioned, my marble didnt come
out. I was fortunate enough to visit in 1996 for a holiday &
enjoyed it but the cicumstances were far different from your
time there. A couple of things I found useful, trailer wise....
get some shade cloth, double it, & use as a ground sheet under
your tent. Allow a couple of feet all round & you have an area to sit stuff on that doesnt get sand etc on the bottom that ends up in your tent or trailer. e.g your grog esky. This also keeps
moisture off the tent floor so you pack up dry. I also suggest
you get a silver tarp to go over the whole thing, allow some
overhang to run the
water away. While not suggesting the tent will leak or that you will use it all the time, it will, again give you
a dry tent to pack up, the roof can be very wet with dew.
In hot conditions it will cool the tent & provide more shade too.
cheers...oldbaz.
