I would like to thank Derek from ABR.
You see, I purchased a Tekonsha Prodigy brake controller and the wiring kit from Derek last week. It was sent on Monday and arrived Tuesday morning via Australia Post. Anyway I went to wire it up, but when I went to fit up the circuit breaker the backing/ hold down plate fell off. I sent Derek an email telling him about this and how all is ok as I have it cable tied up (even if the cable tie snapped it would not short out the circuit).
Derek sent an email back saying he would send another circuit breaker to me, and sure enough it turned up the next day.
So Thank You Derek for your customer support and service. It is greatly appreciated.

Too often we only hear the negatives about things like this.
I have purchased a solar panel and inverter from Derek, and recently a friend bought a solar panel from him.... good service all round!

I agree with your experience with Derek. He has helped me out too.
Coincidentally I had the same thing happen with a Circuit breaker from Derek but, for expediency, went down to Repco and got one. Without taking anything away from Derek he may consider having a look at his breakers, the ones from Repco were the same price if not cheaper and had a much stronger backing plate.
By the way, both Derek and Repco were about a third the price of my local ARB outlet for the same breaker.
Anyway, I agree, Derek is a good operator.

Well at the risk of Derek getting big headed with all this praise .. i too have found Dereks customer service to be excellent. 2 examples:
- i asked on this
forum yonks ago if anyone knew where you could buy a plastic battery tray to put under my new aux bty. Derek said he had them & then sent me one for free!
- i purchase a tyre pressure monitoring system off him recently. the monitor battery stopped taking charge & Derek promptly repaired it & returned to me at no charge.
so i reckon he's a pretty good guy to deal with

Yes I would also like to thank Derek for his great customer service and excellent advise, this last week when I purchased a 30amp battery charger from him.
