Those having problems with Logon logging off, are you using Firefox or Internet Explorer? We are using Firefox but wonder if we are the only victims of this glitch in the system. Are Internet Explorer users having this problem?

I can't give you an answer regarding IE as I use Firefox as well. But I can tell you that I have had a few problems with this site recently and have forwarded on the issues in a diplomatic manner and have received no response.

Recently, Truckster replied to a post stating that he had a problem and it was asked of him to forward on this particular 'error'. I had already done this a few weeks earlier...

There have been a few glitches with the system lately. I have copied and sent in the errors and gotten a response, explaining the problem.

G'day there Au-2.

You haven't told us what the problem is, with FireFox. I'm using FF and have had no problem.

Did you get the FF update the other day? Perhaps that's the problem. I had no problem with logon after the update but perhaps you've updated from an earlier version, still.

Perhaps you have recently cleared your private information. You need to be selective in what you clear.

Is it possible that someone using your computer is visiting porn sites and then clearing all the private information, along with the viewing history, and thus clearing your remembered logins?

I doubt that it's a FF problem and unlikely to be an ExplorOz problem either.

Regards,
Laurie.

I should add that the previous was three or four weeks ago, from memory, although updating FF shouldn't cause a login problem.

Laurie.

Thanks for all your replies, although I think I should have specified that the problem is with ExplorOz. When I open the EO page I am logged on, when I try to interact by going to replies or member messaging, I have to log on again.

This can be seen by clicking on the list on the LHS of screen where you can see the same members logged on up to six times at any one time. We wondered if it might be caused by a glitch in Firefox but, as it doesn't happen on any other web sites, it seems to be a problem peculiar to EO.
I thought it had been fixed when I opened EO for this session until I tried to add this follow-up and then had to Log on again! I realise that when the cache is cleared all loggons are lost and have to be replaced.
