G'day all. I am currently running a set of Motorway Bronco 205R16 but have found that they have suffered significant wear in only 12 months, and need to be replaced. Since my car is also my daily driver I want to run a highway terrain tyre on the current 16 inch wheels and purchase another set of wheels and tyres with a more aggressive A/T or M/T pattern for weekends.

I want to keep the tyre sizes as close to standard as possible. What would your suggestions be for the around town tyres, and the bush set?

Dave if you have a 60 series you have the wrong size tyre. 205 s was fitted to hiluxs and 4runners. 60s normally run 750 16s or 235 16 . Your poor wear could be explained by this and your gearing and ground clearance would suffer.
