A wire has shaken loose which directly connects to the back of the bulb. To be honest I am impressed it has lasted this long considering the roads that have been subjected to.
They are 240 XGT's.

A simple solder job would be the fix, but the 'plug' is plastic so I can't do it. Has anyone come across this before?

thanks,

Why not check with the manufacturers, they are in Sth Aust. The light may even be covered by manufacturer warranty.LightForce. Good luck with it.

I've had a problem with a lightforce that was years out of warranty. I emailed their head office and they promptly sent me a reply paid number to send the light back, which was subsequently replaced old for new, free of charge. I am one happy lightforce customer! Send them an email and see what they say, I think you will be surprised by their level of service

Ditto to all above, I had mine let some moisture in after a few years, they replaced the lens and even a new globe for the light. No Charge...... Best after Sales service I have ever come across, maybe they should run Nissans After Sales LOL

thanks all. I have email lightforce. As I work 9-5 it's a bit hard to get the light to them, but worse case scenario I can take a few hours off work (which is why I was hoping it was a home fix).

Cheers,

Hi guys,

This is Ryan from lightforce here.

I'm glad to see that you are all happy with our service. I have passed this link on to the warranty and customer service department for their knowledge.

For others who may not know, we have a 3 year warranty on our products excluding batteries, and high impact damage.

Gossy's problem is booked in and will be solved as soon as it arrives.

Thanks for spreading the news about Lightforce's customer service and warranty department. We really appreciate it.

If anyone has any more questions or comments, I will be checking back on the website every few days or so or you can email me at ryan@lightforce.net.au.

All the best guys!
