Anaconda...

Hey Andrew,im not a big anaconda fan but on 2 occasions i have bought some gear from them at bloody good prices ,2 weeks ago they had a big sale at bayswater(vic)and i picked up 2 new camping chairs(were $69 each)and a new baby carrier backpack(was $179)all for $150,i was wrapped,even cheaper than i calculated based on the advertised percentage off,give em a try.cheers Paul

They are opening a new store in Frankston area early new yr, which will be about 50mtrs from a Rays Outdoors.. should be interesting
they do have great sales, but
1 - shows you the markup
2 - it isnt 40% off..

I'm probably cynical.... but the 40% off is probably the correct price, with the original price the starting point of the marketing campaign!

alot of their regular discounts are on "selected items" so if those items happen be what you are after then more power to you

40% off a turbo tent is probably unlikely, it doesn't have as good a mark up as the cheaper tents, Accessories are another story however.

Yes you are correct, they do have 40% off ALL tents. Only a couple of weeks ago they had that sale in Townsville and i went and got a Blackwolf Turbo Compact tent. The old man also got one of the larger ones, a fs270 i think... This makes these great tents very affordable. We got in early and saw a few other people walking out with them. Not bad when you save a few hundred dollars.
They also do 20% off storewide sometimes as well, which is when i picked up the waeco 50l.
They provide plenty of great sales, good luck

Just be aware of the 20% and 40% off claims / sales , an awful lot of the sale items are "Spinifex" brand which is their own "brand " of goods , made in China , [not that there is anything wrong with that] and have found here in Qld at least that the "sale " price is the normal price in most cases .
