I asked sometime back if anyone had anything bad to say about gassing a diesel. No one did at the time. I have recently heard that one system can have a problem when the converter fills with oil, stopping the sytem.
There is a system called Eco Gas or in the US called Powershot. This is a simpler mechanical system for turbo diesels. It works from the boost from the turbo. I like the simplicity, less parts and electronics. Apparently developed by the military according to Aussie distributor. Anyone know anything about this system? Here's URL:

Was told that pure propane is best, but our petrol stations supply mix of butane and propane. This is what causes the converters to fill with oil.
Opinions or experiences appreciated.

I have the converter problem, currently being fixed under warranty. While a simple system would be preferred (now!) I got what I considered best value at the time.
Time will tell if the kit for the converter solves the problem, or it comes back in 6 months or so. At the moment, happy with the system, but time will tell if its an ongoing problem or cured with the new bits they are putting in.

Bonz has seen it and interrogated me to death about it, so pin him down at
the Pyrenees and badger the chit out of him re same.
He will only be too happy to enlighten you for hours on end (LOL) about anything and everything.
