Cargo barrier for a Surf

Hi,
I am looking to get a cargo barrier for my 95 surf.
Anyone out there had any success with getting one installed?
I have been told they are not made for Surfs?
Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated

Milford... One out of a 4 runner fits.
Mate has one in his Surf.
