Arn bleep inbeliveable!!!

Doug..Rather than saying what he did wrong! Try explaining how to do it rather than trying to prove your brilliance!

96 GXL 80.."Sorry for trying to be helpful, you arrogant old Turd."
Hardly sounds apologetic or helpfull!!!

Have you two tried 4wd monthly forum??? I reckon you would fit in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think my reply No's 1 & 2 were fairly straight forward with no sarcasm , If this arrogant old Turd can work it out surely his highness can too, or what do you suggest I do , send him of to a special school where it can be put up on a blackboard with Chalk detailing how to do links on EO ..... No that won't work either , he's to thick . ...lol

Doug,
I know what your saying, But I have posted photos and links in the past but If I havent done it for a while I too need reminding sometimes.
Its very hard to pick tone of voice on the internet and somethings you find very simple may not be to others.
And YES, "arogant old turd" certainly wasnt called for either!

So on a finishing note ( I find it hard being nice and diplomatic. Just ask OLD Kim!)

I bid you Goodnight, you pair of argumentive, egotestical gits!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL

Hairy,
yes I tried to get into that link 4wd monthly forum??? but for some reason it was all choked up with Hair and looking like a Barber Shop.

You might have to supply Doug T with some as I feel the sun is frying his eggs on him.

I do feel sorry for him but are still to work out what for?

Well, I'm pleased that you raised this, Doug.

I've tried a couple of times, lately, to link to images and web pages, but it hasn't worked. Don't know if I've done something wrongly.

Suspect it's something in the system that disallows visitors, as apposed to members, from linking.

I'd really like to know.

As for weatherzone, it's a great thing.

I have weatherzone buttons on a number of my websites. Can't show you easily though. Same problem as 96.

Regards,
Laurie.

Laurie,
you shouldn't have admitted that there is a problem.
Now you will get abused.
watch out for DT and his mob of "Forum Police".

They have there own "FORCE"

Hey 96!

I think it's a bit of a misunderstanding.

I doubt that Doug meant it the way it came out.

Doubtless he wishes it didn't come to harsh words as I'm sure you do also.

Best wishes to you all,
Laurie.

Laurie,

"Insert Link" button on bottom left hand side under text box for replies or posts. Works the same for Members or Visitors as far as I am aware.

I don't know how it works for non members , I would presume if a visitor has done type of log in then the link system should work , At least your comment was not nasty like some other bloody lunitic, As I said I don't mind helping someone but if they want to be childish as the likes of 69 LXG 08 series then I can't be bothered ,

Doug, it is not the first nor the last time you have had your shots, and you forgot to mention that there is another button to use, it is up the top on the far right it has an X on it, you should use it from time to time.

Especially while taking a cold shower.

Instead of taking shots at others, think what could be the problem.
Even the Spell Check only works now and again.

I also have noticed that you to have doubled up on replies like a lot of us.

Everyone is entitled to a mistake or 3 surely.

Doug T,

This site works a bit differently to other sites so it takes a while longer to adjust.

OK, thanks Gramps. I'll have another go, but that's what I did before. See if I can get it this time.

If it shows up, it's one of the many views from the top of Bottle Hill. The explorer, John McDouall Stuart climbed this hill on Thursday 17 June, 1858.

Laurie.

If you want to insert a link which can be clicked on (it appears in blue and underlined) then instead of just inserting or typing it in the message, click on the [Insert Link] icon at the bottom left of the "Enter Your Reply" box and fill in the details in the popup box.

You can also type in the text which will appear, in place of the actual link text.

I put it up just for you "RF" but look at the goings on.

I think DougT and myself should agree to disagree.

Doug can agree that he is an old Turd and I will not agree that he is not an old Turd.

this will make him Croak / Jump / Hop what ever, good onya DougyT, stick to those DT's mate and don't forget the "X" in the top right corner.

Hey 96 , i dont want to get into a he said this and i said that ...but seriously i think you misunderstood Dougs first 2 posts ,as for your comments in regards to the way Doug talks to people on here i think you should go back and take a look at some of your own replies , i could go back and copy and paste some of them for you , but i'm not going to, do it yourself , take note of one in particular where all i done was to make a comment to your post that said " so what " ......Perhaps mate you should go see your doc and get youself a bottle of CHILL PILLS ...anyway buddy you have a great nite and dont forget them pills ......Cheers.......Dave

Oh and btw i myslf have had a run in with Doug b4 , and as far as im concerned stiff bleep !!, we both got over it ..

Thanks for the weatherzone address ??? even if you didn't insert it into a link ;-)) With respect to this sites weather info, weatherzone has far more detail particually on a local level & is even better set out than the official BOM site making it easier to read. Had seen it before but forgot the address so thanks again for posting.
Cheers Craig...............

A pleasure Craig,
I hadn't noticed it advertised on here in the past so I thought that it would be handy to all and especially travellers and of course Red Frog.

One thing with it you can have it on the screen at all times to monitor etc.

Also you can set it to what alerts you need.

Red Frog seems to jump for glory when you show him something interesting.

Great to see a happy little Frog.
Cheers
