The market for RIO closed last night at $113.40 . This morning the opening sale for RIO looks as though it will be around $136.00.
Anybody long in RIO ? I hope nobodys short !

Of course they did David . It certainly is not a friendly takeover offer and RIO directors will try to maximise the price BHP pays if they cannot ward them off .
As Baz said , it will be a long drawn out fight . Price has just come back to $132.60 .
