Have always had a Warne winch...no problems. About to order a new 70 series tray back and wondering whether to get it with the Toyota accessory - Superwinch or stay with the Warne and purchase after delivery

Any feedback on the Superwinch would be appreciated

Thanks in advance to all

I have a superwinch and it performs well, if a little slow. If I was in your position I would not get the superwinch but a WARN 9500 XP.

bungarra,

I've also got an X9 Superwinch and it has done the job on a number of occasions for both me and others. A solenoid went at about 2 years and the whole sealed solenoid unit had to be replaced.

The other issue I have is with the alloy Toyota Winch Bar every time I use the winch the bar swivels about 3" towards the bonnet and its a pain to loosen the bolts and put it back in the correct position. Toyota reckon its supposed to do this because of the air bag sensors. Probably won't be an issue on the 70 series.
