Can anyone tell me if there is anything different mechanically between the update 2002 cruiser and the current 100 series.

I know they went to a 5 speed auto late 2002 but has anything changed since then other than headlights and tail lights in 05.

Thanks very much.

dual zone air conditioning04/05 and 5 speed A750F changed from having a dipstick to a "sealed" unit that you dont touch unless its cooked or gets an oil leak.

Did the change to the auto (sealing it) include any changes to the gearbox itself. Does it still do the same job as before?

cheers

AFAIK its the same. Makes sense though I guess as the auto shouldnt use oil unless leaking, and having a filler/dipstick increases risk of foreign bodies entering?

It's not mechanical but the Sahara got a few more LX goodies like the adjusting suspension, electric steering wheel and Optitron instruments on the '05 update.
