You will find a good set of instuctions in Jayco caravan manuals . Unfortunately I am in
Port Hedland and my manual is in Inverloch , but you may be able to borrow one locally .

Now when you jack up each wheel to adjust them up, you will hear the magnets scraping on the drum as
well, don't let that put you off, just look for spinning resistance. Say about 1/2 a revolution, then give it one more click, it should not spin. So I them back it off 2 clicks.
Do the same on both sides
With the electric adjustment, follow the manual. If you have a Techoncha voyager controller, I can burn you a copy of the instructional DVD.
Basically do what they tell you, then I back off the corse dial a little, and have not had any more lock ups.
Cheers MAte

Got the same gear on my Campomatic. Been good to date (4 years) - getting worn now and will be up for shoes, magnets and drum machining before the next big trip. To adjust the shoe clearance, the common tool for that purpose is cheap and very handy - Repco et al will have one - has screwdriver type ends on it but the bent ends are handy. Re the little adjustment access hole on the lower-back of the hub - crawl under and have a look in there with a light - just so you can see the lugs on the spindle - makes it easier to engage them with the tool, when you know what is there. I take them up to a heavy drag (not quite locked solid), and then back off about 10 clicks. Re which way to swing the tool ? If you put the tool in, engage a lug and swing your outer end of the tool UP, this will increase the shoe clearance (loosen).

Initially I check
mine with the hubs off, like when I'm doing wheel bearings. After inspecting the drums, the magnets and shoes, I use a set of Verniers to check the O.D. of the shoes and ensure that they are all within a micky whisker and the carry out the final adjustment as previous people have explained

Everything works fine, so I guess if it ain't broke, don't fix it, or is there a minimim with this one ?
