I wonder how long people will be waiting for accessories such as long range tanks , bull bars , rear bumper / wheel holders , drawers , accessory battery set-ups , dif locks etc .
Has anybody made any enquiries of people such as Kaymar and ARB ?
Does the new 200 share the same wheel track as the 100 IFS or is it wider . I read it had a "wider wheel track" , but is that wider than the current std diesel or the IFS ?
Thanks ,
Willie

I'd reckon at least 6 months,
They would have to wait until they got one for a fit up I would say, and then wait for market demand.
As for the wheel track, I read that they where wider than the 100 but thought the wheel track between the IFS and live axle where the same, AFTER different wheel offsets.

There are already accessories incl bullbars, roofracks, etc available thru Toyota. They are likely to have been made by ARB etc anyway and are, in my experience, very competitively priced. Full details on their website.
Long range tanks could be a real issue. The VX and Sahara Turbo Diesels do not have a sub
tank because, so I've been told, this would put their weight into a category that would adversely affect their towing capacity, ie, reduce it below 3500 kg. The space is still there but if you put one in can you imagine the insurance companies having a field day if you were found to be towing above your rating (whatever that would be after fitting a
tank).

These vehicles are so close to fully loaded the sub fuel
tank has been removed from the VX and Sahara.
From what is written in the press, this si so the towing capacity can remain at 3500kg.
You will also probably have a serious weight problem if things like LPG conversion, Bullbar, Rear wheel carrier, roof racks, drawer systems are fitted.
The carrying capacity of a VX with second fuel
tank re-installed, bull bar, drawer system, tow bar, and a fridge would likely be reduced to 6 stubbies and the driver..........

Willie,
TJM have bar work ready for the 200 Series.
I saw a photo today of a 200 Series in America at a car show and it was all dressed up with TJM bar work. They even have a
snorkel on the vehicle.

Drawers for the 200 series are ready as soon as someone orders a system from me.
Either the standard two drawer for $850 or the double stacker with two drawers on top of each other and the fridge slide on the other for $1250.
My latest creation is also available. It is a unit with two drawers on one side and an upright 65 L Waeco 12/240 volt fridge on the other side, negating the need to reach over and into a chest style fridge. Here's the good news, the whiole package is only $2250.
