Roof Consol for Sunroof

Given that a sunfoof is virtually useless off road, has anyone made or purchased a roof consol that temporarily mounts to the gap in the sun roof? I would love a roof consol for map storage and possibly to relocate the CB.

I Imagine that it would somehow clip or clamp onto the front and rear edges of the sun roof area. One thought to mount it, is U shaped aluminium to fit over the front and rear edges. They could be the width of the sunroof to stop sliding sideways or be clamped.

I have a Landcruiser but the concept should work for any vehicle.

Any ideas or experiences would be appreciated.
