I have a 2007 ST-L Nissan Patrol which came with factory fitted Sat Nav. Does anyone know where the antenna for the GPS is located? The GPS used to work fine but now I only receive input from one or two satellites. I am just wondering if I have covered the antenna up with some of the extras I have installed.

Just a guess, is it in the centre of the dash near the windscreen? My Adventra (like Commodore) has the sensor for the auto headlights in that spot. I couldn't work out why my lights didn't work on auto. Then it came to me in two words. DASH MAT. Otherwise, contact your dealer P&A department.
Good luck.

I fear it may be under the centre of the dash. Unfortunately I have an aftermarket dash pod on top of the dash housing a
uhf radio. But from memory the sat nav still worked fine after I installed the radio?

A mate of
mine has one and the aerial wasn't even pluged in. Just a small problem. Might want to get nissan to check that out.

The main GPS receiver assembly sits under the driver's
seat. The antenna is plugged in but I can't follow where the wire goes to from there.
