Is it the callipers that need changing or disc pads?
There are people that specialise in them but you to have to be careful as you can be got at very easy regarding prices and what they are going to and do change.
I know when we were in Mandurah in WA, we had a
young bloke working for us who had a HJ40 and he took it to a brake croud to get a quote on his brakes.
The quote was $800.00 to fix it.
We did the job ourselves as it was new brake shoes as they were drums and re kitted the wheel cylinders as the back were not working and got out of it for under $150.00. and this was including getting the drums machined.

If it the rears just buy the kits from Repco, Busons, Auto One etc. Pbr do them and all you need is compressed air. Pop the piston out, remove the seal and clean the muck out. Plenty of rubber grease and re-assemble with new kits. Ensure the slides are extremely clean and greased.
If its the fronts, they are a bit more complicated as they are a 4 spot caliper and you have to split them. The 80 series really doesn't give a problem in the calipers so I would be interested to know why you need them overhauled.

Hi Scott
Yes its the front Calipers. The outer seals are broken on at least 3 pistons l can see, thats on only one caliper. Apparently the other side is as bad too..(Brakes plus advice) They quoted me a lot of money to do the job, but l like to try to do these things myself...if l can..gota save $$$$ somewhere.
Thanks for advice
