Regarding a previous thread. The offest inserts I referred to in response to your problem are actually offset camber bolts. Unfortunately the cost was around $300, not the amount I indicated, but apparently completely got rid of the vibration.

Hi Ken, Thanks for the info. We went yesterday and had it checked and one of the rear tyres had separated not sure why this happened. But it was definitely the cause of the really bad vibration. Anyway we have bought two new tyres as recommended. It is a lot better but I think it still has some sort of vibration or wobble. Maybe I am just paranoid!!!! Not sure how smooth the Challengers are supposed to be.
Thanks again for you help.
Regards Fran

Well at least you have overcome the main problem. My 2003 is not too bad. Not quite like driving a late model
sedan, but the tyres are a bit chunkier anyway. It is our first 4wd and I was surprised it is as smooth as it is. Test drove an earlier model before we bought it and it was a lot rougher. Test drove a 12 month old Challenger too, and it was as good as a new
sedan.
We have just put new tyres (yokohama HT's) and the ride is not quite as smooth as the worn (original)Yoko's.
One thing I have been really pleased with is that the tyres all wore so evenly, right up to 75000km. Same on the inside, outside and centre.
