Morning all,
Kev and Howard and I were chatting in Kiwi's trip thread yesterday re a possble trip gathering somewhere a bit closer to home i.e. mid north coast area of NSW.
So that said, I have asked a friend to send information about her place at West Kunderang - east of Armidale - to see what is available there.
I'll keep the
forum advised when the info arrives.
Cheers

John,
Sounds good. It will be good to get the new cruiser into some action.
I just got a phone call for a job interview for a position in
Redcliffe. So I may know when I'll be available after the 18 Jan 08.
Actually that weekend may be a good one as the Festival starts then and only gets better later in the week. So maybe hold it that weekend (evening of the 18 Jan - Morning on the 21 Jan 08).
Cheers Kev

Kev
I've put those dates down in my work roster so now all I'll have to do is get the info from West Kunderang. I'll try ringing again tomorrow.
Cheers

John,
Can you keep me posted as that may just be suitable for me and the family? I would love to catch up with some new faces. Let me know about van access if possible too please as this is my "camping" these days. Offroad 16ft.
Regards, Trevor.

Trevor & Duncs,
Once I get the info from the site I'll do a trip/gathering post with the details and let the members and others indicate the numbers. I'm not sure how many can be catering for with the
camp sites etc.

I hjave been to West Kunderang, great spot, good fishing(catch and release) lots of river crossings. I wouldnt take a van in their you drop close to a thousand metres in a few ks and it is mostly single lane. We went up the raspberry fire trail in wifes paj, she bailed out half way up. I had to drive another 6ks to find a spot to turn arround. It was not steep but very narrow with drops opver the side of thousands of feet. Iam looking forward to going back.
Cheers Pete

Evening Pete,
Thanks for that info. I'll have a long talk with Cindy before venturing in with my Trak Shak. Others will have to decide when I provide the info.

Keep the info coming John, some time mid January could work out just fine for me too.
It's about time I got to meet some of the EO members from the east coast. Those South Australians are a strange mob, hope the east coast boys are just as much fun.

If it weren't for us Qld'rs at Warraweena, the SA boys would have been bored. Plenty of practical jokes come from our
camp down there LOL!! All the mexican's cars were the one's needing repairs so keep them south of the border and we will be fine hehehe.
Hope to see you there Duncs.
Regards, Trevor.
