If it would truck driver fault they say it *VERY* loud. Plus my experience and observation telling me that it is incredibly seldom truck driver fault in truck-car collision. Truck driver has limited vision and cannot stop or turn quickly, thus car must always give way to truck. 99.99% their fault.

'Truck driver has limited vision and cannot stop or turn quickly, thus car must always give way to truck'
ah this explains why they feel they are above the law and why so many truck drivers drive like @ickheads then!
Just using your own logic KSV..........Leroy

You are welcome anytime. But I still rate truck drivers as most reliable and predictable on the roads. Cannot say so about some suburban @ickheads and in particular about Toorak tractors drivers.

What happened to the rules of giving way to the right, at a red light and at stop / give way signs? Don't trucks have to obey these anymore?

I'm sure the girls are heartened by your concerns........ Don't worry yourselves though, Ethical Standards were out there doing what they do best.
Don't get a divisional van confused with a V8 TOG car, very different roles and
views on policing. But again thanks KSV.

If it was 0600 then the poor souls had been at work for 7 hours, working difficult hours and travelling back to knock off at 0700 whilst protecting the community. How you get reckless from that I dont know. Are you ever tired at work and make errors of judgement??????. Maybe careless driving if anything. Theyd probable already done 150 ks, a few domestics, $hit jobs with idiots, a ream of paper work and then helped an injured roo. Give em a break.

Was it any of the "
Forum Police" involved.
I seen it on the news and thought they might have been going back to log of the Forums.

Im waiting for someone to say George Bush planned it?
Cops do a difficult job and in general do it very
well. They put up with endless sh.t. Im sure not ALL Vic cops are affiliated with crime figures?
If I was paid $45K a year to carry a gun, and some w..ker pointed a gun or knife at me and told me they were going to use, Id tend to believe them and act accordingly.

WA police have banned the use of V8s in their fleet now for at least the last six years, due to reckless driving of the cars. IT was stated at the time that there was also lack of training associated with the crashes that resulted at least two deaths of coppers. Don't tell me that they don't hoon, esp the
young ones in the plain cars. I had to ring the local
police station the other day when my f-i-l and I came face to face with a unmarked cop car on the wrong side of road, speeding and and both
young coppers, both in uniforms were laughing their heads off in the back streets. It was not funny and little dangerous, don't you think.
Anyone know if they were doing a u turn in the middle of the hwy. That has been another cause of polacs in WA, resulting also in a couple deaths and serious injuries. I know of a near miss when friend came over the crest of a
hill in south west town on the highway towing a double horse float ( loaded) and came face to face with a copper doing a three point turn, the horses in this case came off second best, after finding them selves on their knees under the chest bar. Cost a few hundred dollars in vet bills and the horses would no longer float.
WA police are starting to bring in the use of holden astras and another type of vehicle, they can't keep up with the boy racers in the wrxs' with the V6.

No u turn, drifted onto the wrong side of the road. Long live WA police. They're trial period on no pursuits at all worked wonders.
