I was just coming out of the local fish and chip
shop (the wife was o/s and a man's gotta eat :) when I beheld one of those pretend 4wd's with a flat rear tyre.
The driver was using an el cheapo electric compressor and getting nowhere. Sadly I wasn't in the 4wd as my u beaut compressor would have pumped it up in no time.
The driver took the pump off, and hauled out a rather expensive looking bike pump.
His
young bloke then proceeded to pump the tyre up. Even though it still had a puncture. Don't worry, says the driver, it's tubeless and won't go down for around 12 hours.
Huh ?
I wouldn't go too far on it anyway, I offer.
Wasn't going to, he replies.
Exit. One 4wd look alike with the rear tyre still hissing from the escaping air.
Left behind. One old dude clutching his tea and still shaking his head.

Wouldn't have taken the long as it would have only been flat on the bottom.

John, no the F@C were still warmish when I got home. Any cold stuff would have been fed to the dogs anyway. No point in just me feeling crook :))))

Ahhh!! The @ in F & C, thats the New Zealund accented way of writing F & C.
Your getting so many NZ emails from that New Zealunder on the Codan site that you now write like one :-)

I've decided that sooner or later I'm going to have to check out his natural habitat so that I can begin each sentence with, "In Australia...."
Mind you, I'll draw the line at Australian sheep jokes.
Yep, the poor sod thinks a few windy mountain tracks followed by a dip in the mud is 4wding.
With morning and afternoon tea and a comfy motel room every night ? I don think so :))

Dunno. He didn't say much. If they don't say much they're sometimes hard to spot among the real thing :))))
