Hi all,
We are looking at a Tvan, really like them, but my wife snores as if there is no tomorrow. Does anyone with a Tvan find them a bit claustrophobic and/or noisy in the fibreglass canopy section.
Can't sleep now in a queen bed in a large bedroom so don't want the noise to be even more magnified.
Cheers

Is leaving her at home an option?

Suppose I could get a roof top outfit like yours as
well, and put her up there.

Your joking right..? Findanosnoringwife..! All jokes aside you address the snoring problem rather than try to find a Van to suit. Sound reverbs will always carry in a tight small enviroment, having said that I couldn't imagine any van being different unless it had completely enclosed bedrooms seperating the snorer..

Pete
Thanks for that. I know it sounds a bit ridiculous and I agree that choosing the right van first is the way to go but if it is a real problem it could spoil a great trip.
Appreciate your comments.
Cheers

You will have to stop working her so hard, let her relax during the day, might help.
If you are going to get one built? have an entrance on her side like an igloo and make her sleep with her head out side.

if your a light sleeper like me , then perhaps you should consider ear plugs... they have nice soft ones on the markets now that fit your ear contour very
well and for me i hardly notice them any more ( i wear them for 12 hours a day for work) i actually kind of forget them now...
well worth considering , the other option is to get REALLY drunk when out
camping , then when you pass out -- you will be snoring equally as loud as your wife and all the noise should keep away any animals for your
camp site

Yeah, the bottle or two of wine works a treat every time.
