(Are you out there Doug?)
I am playing with my new toy - Garmin Nuvi 660.
I have loaded Shonky and T4A Maps.
In the map Info list, all the maps are "ticked" (Shonky, T4A and City Nav). I assume you only leave the map set you want to work with, "ticked" and "un-tick" the others...... is that correct ?
Thanks in advance
Neil

Yes you are spot on , leave only one ticked ,
What do mean by loaded Shonky and T4A Maps, or do you mean
Shonky T4A Maps that probably won't have the same amount data as the paid version , Now I only assume that , I have not seen the free version to compare , reason for that is that with the paid version I KNOW it's the best,

Thanks Doug
I have loaded Shonky and T4A Pro (the one you buy) reading various threads on different forums I believe that one is better in one area and the other in a different area. Don't know for sure, as I have only just loaded them in yesterday.

I am also playing with my new nuvi660 toy and trying to load shonky maps and are having problems. I know you need mapsource or city navigator and it comes preloaded on nuvi but does that mean I have to buy a mapsource CD or can you access it from the nuvi.
Thanks in advance, Craig

Hi Craig
I used "Trip and Waypoint Manager" that came with my hand held garmin GPS, but Mapsouce also came on the disc I purchased with Shonky Maps.
It seams straight forward to load them into the Nuvi sd card. It worked 1st time for me.
Regards
Neil

Neil, I thought shonky was available for free. Did you get mapsource with t4a pro?
