Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has been up the kirama range from kennedy to blencoe in the last couple of months? Officially the road has been closed, but earlier this year there was no signs or gates or the like.
Any recent info greatly appreciated

Trolute,
Been maybe 3 months since we came down that way. Can't see it being much different now. (not a huge wet, as I understand).
Probly better to come from Innot/Mt Surprise side.
The reason for closure is (allegedly), government assholism.
(And no, I never said that, btw).
Fantastic scenery: shame you were so brief.
Jeff.

the road from kennedy to Blencoe is defenitly open. ( I droive around the
sign) In fact it is 2WD even. I was up there a few months ago and one of the bridges was almost washed away but there was a farmer and a couple of guys working there way along fixing up the worst bits. When I was up there about 2 months ago the road was even better and I would take a 2WD through no probs at all... all the way through to Mt surpirse
